Fulton neighborhood crime reports

October 3  During the noon to 1 p.m. school lunch break, a suspect assaulted a victim at 49th & Xerxes.  The victim, a juvenile male, was transported to a hospital for treatment.

October 7  At about 11:20 p.m., officers at 52nd & Sheridan cited 20-year-old Alexander Caleb Solomonson of 4953 Vincent Ave South for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.

October 22  Between 4:00 and 4:15 p.m., four suspects entered Bella Salon and Spa, 5015 Ewing Ave, to ask about the services.  While an employee was distracted by two suspects, another suspect took a cell phone from behind the cash register.

November 4  Between 6:10 and 6:35 a.m., unknown suspect(s) broke out the driver’s side windows of five vehicles which were parked at 48th & Thomas.  A credit card and GPS unit were taken from one vehicle, a wallet and cell phone from another, unlisted item(s) from two other vehicles.  No loss was reported from the fifth vehicle.  The owners had parked the vehicles there at 6:00 a.m. and left them at 6:10 a.m.  A passerby reported the windows broken out at 6:35 a.m.

November 8  At about 3:05 p.m., two suspects assaulted two juveniles at 48th & Beard.  The suspects fled from the area.  The victims refused medical attention and were released to a parent.

Forced entry property crimes

 October 3  Between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m., an unknown suspect broke the driver’s side window of a vehicle which was parked on the street at 44th & Thomas in Linden Hills and took unlisted items.

October 4  A theft from motor vehicle was reported between 2:30 and 4 p.m. on the 4100 block of West Lake Harriet Parkway in Linden Hills.

October 10  Between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m., an unknown suspect burglarized a garage on the 4700 block of Bryant in Lynnhurst and took unlisted item(s).

October 11  Between 8:00 and 8:30 p.m., an unknown suspect broke a window of a vehicle which was parked at an address on the 4300 block of Upton in Linden Hills and took unlisted items.

October 17  Between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., an unknown suspect broke into a home on the 6000 block of Oliver in Armatage and took unlisted items.

October 22  Between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., an unknown suspect forced entry to a home on the 4600 block of Colfax in Lynnhurst and took unlisted items.

October 24  Between October 24 and 26, an unknown suspect pryed open a front door of a vehicle which was parked in front of a home on the 5900 block of Vincent in Armatage and took unlisted items.

October 29  Between 8:50 a.m. and 4:40 p.m., an unknown suspect entered a home on the 5000 block of Dupont in Lynnhurst and took a laptop computer and cash.

November 3  Between 2 and 7 a.m., an unknown suspect broke out the driver’s side rear window of a vehicle which was parked in the rear driveway of a home on the 3800 block of Vincent in Linden Hills and took unlisted item(s) from the backseat.

November 5  At about 11:50 p.m., an unknown suspect broke out the kitchen window of a home on the 4000 block of Zenith in Linden Hills, gained entry, and took unlisted items.

Unsecured property

October 1  Between 1:00 and 4:30 p.m., an unknown suspect gained entry to a home on the 5800 block of Colfax in Kenny through an open garage door and stole a laptop computer from the dining room table.

October 6  Between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m., an unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle parked at an address on the 4800 block of Emerson in Lynnhurst, rummaged through it, and took loose change, the vehicle manual, and repair receipts.

October 10  Between 6 p.m. and 7:30 a.m., an unknown suspect entered a garage on the 4500 block of Upton in Linden Hills through an open overhead door and took unlisted item(s) from a vehicle which was parked inside.

October 12  Between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., an unknown suspect entered a garage on the 5600 block of Morgan in Armatage and took unlisted items.  The victim told police that the garage door may have been open.

 Other incidents

October 6  Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., an unknown suspect damaged a vehicle which was parked in the rear driveway of a home on the 5600 block of Dupont in Kenny.  Three large rocks from a retaining wall were found next to the vehicle on the driveway.  The windshield, front grill, and passenger side mirror were broken.

October 7  At about 10:10 p.m., officers were dispatched to an address on the 4500 block of Beard in Linden Hills regarding a possible assault, which turned out to be unfounded.  53-year-old Robert Clinton Glad of 4537 Beard Ave South was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant for trespassing out of Minneapolis and a misdemeanor warrant out of Goodhue County.

October 9  At about 4:25 a.m., officers conducted a suspicious vehicle stop on the 5600 block of Xerxes in Armatage.  28-year-old Christopher Douglas Farber of 5625 Xerxes Ave South was arrested for a felony narcotics violation involving fraudulent possession of prescription drugs.

October 12  At about 4:40 a.m., police responded to a robbery of business at Great Harvest Bread Company, 4314 Upton Ave in Linden Hills.  21-year-old Abdullahi Ahmed Ali was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant out of Dakota County.  23-year-old Hassan Ahmed Dahir was arrested for a felony warrant for possession of a pistol by a person convicted of a violent crime.  Dahir has prior convictions in Hennepin County for fleeing police on foot, prohibited person in possession of a firearm, and 1st degree aggravated robbery (2).

October 19  At about 12:30 p.m., an officer responded to a complaint on the 5700 block of Newton in Armatage and cited 26-year-old Travis Anthony Paige of Bloomington and 26-year-old Marcus Allen White of St Anthony for removing solid waste without permission.  White has prior convictions in Hennepin and Anoka Counties for domestic assault (2), violating an order for protection (2), aiding and abetting theft, and possession of a small amount of marijuana.

October 23  At about 6:20 p.m., a suspect threw what appeared to be a rock at a vehicle which was traveling northbound on the 4600 block of France Ave in Linden Hills, breaking out the rear passenger side window.  A child in the backseat saw the incident and the driver turned around and saw the suspect – a juvenile male – running eastbound through yards with two other males.  A person at a nearby apartment building also witnessed the incident.
