Fulton neighborhood crime reports

November 11  Between 5:30 and 7:45 p.m., an unknown suspect broke the front passenger side window of a vehicle which was parked at an address on the 5000 block of Ewing.  No loss was reported.

November 12  At about 10:20 p.m., police at 50th & York stopped a young person who was walking eastbound on 50th St.  A 13-year-male was cited for curfew violation and transported home.

November 18  Between 8:00 and 9:30 p.m., an unknown suspect broke out the rear passenger side window of a vehicle which was parked at 50th & Xerxes and took a backpack containing a laptop computer from the back seat.

November 19  At about 1:15 p.m., police at Pershing Park, 3523 West 48th St, cited three 16-year-old males and a 17-year-old male for loitering with intent to buy or sell narcotics.  Another 17-year-old male was cited for that offense and for giving police a false name.

November 20  Between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., suspects entered an unlocked home on the 4900 block of Beard and took unlisted items.

November 21  Between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m., an unknown suspect stole a bike which was locked to an unspecified object at 51st & Ewing.

November 25  At about 9:40 a.m., police responded to Michael’s Lamp Studio, 3101 West 50th St, regarding an unruly customer.  57-year-old Steven David Kaplan of St Louis Park was cited for disorsderly conduct and trespassed from the business.

November 25  Between 2:20 and 2:30 p.m., an unknown suspect entered an occpied home on the 5200 block of Zenith and took unlisted item(s).

November 29  Between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m., an unknown suspect entered a vehicle which was parked in the driveway of a home on the 4800 block of Sheridan and took cash and sunglasses.

December 2  Between 12:05 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., an unknown suspect took unlisted items from a garage on the 4900 block of Upton.

December 2  At about 1:10 p.m., police at 48th & York cited a 17-year-old male for driving without a valid license, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  The vehicle was impounded.

December 4  Between 5:00 and 7:30 p.m., an unknown suspect broke the front passenger side window of a vehicle which was parked in the lot at Pig & Fiddle, 3812 West 50th St, and took an iPod from a workout bag and $180 cash from a portfolio which was between the driver’s seat and the center console.  The responding officer noted that there is no camera at this location.

December 4  Between 5:15 and 8:00 p.m., an unknown suspect broke the front passenger side window of a vehicle which was parked in the lot at Pig & Fiddle, 3812 West 50th St, and took a messenger bag containing papers from the rear area of the vehicle and left it on the front passenger seat.   No loss was reported.

December 4  Between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m., an unknown suspect broke the driver’s side window of a vehicle which was parked in the lot at Pig & Fiddle, 3812 West 50th St, and took a backpack containing a laptop computer.  The responding officer noted that there is no camera at this location.

December 4  Between 8:30 and 9:50 p.m., an unknown suspect broke the rear driver’s side window of a vehicle which was parked on the street on the 4900 block of Washburn and took a bag containing a laptop computer and unlisted item(s).

December 5  At about 6 a.m., a resident of a home on the 4800 block of Drew heard a loud noise near the front door.  The resident found that the automatic door closer had been pulled from the storm door, but was still attached to the door frame.

December 6  Between 4:30 and 6:35 p.m., an unknown suspect broke the rear driver’s side window of a vehicle which was parked in the lot at Pig & Fiddle, 3812 West 50th St, and took a laptop computer and bag from the back seat.  The responding officer noted that “there have been several thefts from motor vehicles in the area.”

The Fulton Safety Committee will NOT meet in December.
