Fulton neighborhood crime reports
September 6 At about 2:10 a.m., two people saw two suspects rummage through a vehicle which was parked in the driveway of a home on the 3400 block of West 49th St. The suspects ran northbound.
September 13 Between 10:30 p.m. and 7 a.m., an unknown suspect broke the passenger side window of a vehicle which was parked in the rear driveway of a home on the 5200 block of Beard, rummaged through part of the vehicle, and took a phone charger.
September 21 Between 12:05 and 12:40 p.m., an unknown suspect pried open the cash register at Michael’s Lamp Studio, 3101 West 50th St, and took money.
September 24 At about 2:20 a.m., three suspects took a laptop computer from a vehicle which was parked at an address on the 5200 block of Abbott. 23-year-old Kaleab Tewodros Woldegiorgis, who gave police an invalid address, was arrested for theft from motor vehicle. The laptop was recovered. Woldegiorgis posted $78 bail and was released from jail the same day, with a court appearance set for October 8. Woldegiorgis has prior convictions in Hennepin and Ramsey Counties for receiving stolen property, aiding/abetting 3rd degree burglary, and driving while intoxicated.
September 26 Between 2 a.m. September 26 and 8:30 p.m. September 27, unknown suspect(s) stole a motorcycle which was parked and locked at an address on the 2900 block of West 50th St.
The Fulton Safety Committee will meet on Tuesday, October 28, at 7 p.m.
