Fulton Safety Committee report – November 11, 2015

October 11 Between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., an unknown suspect entered a garage on the 5100 block of Washburn through an open overhead door and took unlisted item(s).
October 26 Between 11:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., unknown suspect(s) broke into a home on the 5300 block of Penn through the front door and rummaged through it – no loss was initially reported. An officer found a broken pane of glass from the door.
October 26 At about 5:30 p.m, suspects entered the Verizon store at 3724 West 50th St. The suspects stole a demo cell phone from a display on the counter after cutting the metal security strap. The suspects fled in a vehicle. The store has video surveillance, but staff was unable to access it at the time of the report.
November 5 Between 1:15 and 2:45 a.m., a suspect used a landscaping brick to break a window at Michael’s Lamp Studio, 3101 West 50th St, and stole an unlisted item. Officers arrested 44-year-old Wayne Stephen Roemhildt, 302 9th St NE, for burglary of business. Roemhildt was subsequently charged with felony 3rd degree burglary.
November 5 Between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m., a burglary of dwelling occurred at an address on the 5000 block of Xerxes Ave.
