Community Engagement

Is your heart in making community connections? This is the group for you. The CE committee plans the Fabulous Fulton Festival each year and has a great time doing it. Seriously.

We meet in a neighbor’s backyard throughout the summer and dream up ways to amuse and entertain you. We also work with the Fulton Block Facilitator to help with our Block Contact and Welcome Packet program.

CE Sponsored Events

The 2010 Fulton Fall Festival was a huge success.

  • We received 1,029 pounds of donated food and $218 in cash donations that went to a very grateful Joyce Uptown Food Shelf.
  • Families enjoyed pony rides, a great petting zoo, climbing wall, silent auction, fantastic entertainment on the Showmobile stage, fun food and much more.
  • We raised funds to support the community organizing efforts of the Fulton Neighborhood Association.
  • With the help of Joe Wolf, the Used Book Sale made $48 and gave the remaining funds to support Linden Hills Library.
  • With the help of Nancy Lo, we composted 161.7 pounds of organics and recycled 41.9 pounds of cans, bottles, aluminum.
