July 2017 Safety Report

Crime reports 

June 10  Between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m., an unknown suspect took a mountain bike valued at $550 from a garage on the 4800 block of Washburn.  There was no forced entry or damage to the garage. 

June 10  Between 8 p.m. and 9:30 a.m., an unknown suspect stole a vehicle which was parked in front of an address on the 4800 block of Washburn.  The owner stated that there was a spare key in the vehicle.

June 12  Between 6:30 and 7:40 a.m., a theft from motor vehicle was reported at Lake Harriet Parkway near Penn Ave.

June 15  Between 3 and 5 a.m., an unknown suspect entered a van which was parked on the street on the 5000 block of Queen and took the contents of a wallet which was in the center console.  A credit card that was taken was used to make a $267 purchase at a Walmart at about 6 a.m.

June 20  Between 8:35 and 8:40 a.m., unknown suspect(s) stole a Honda generator at 52nd & Washburn.  The generator was being used by a work crew digging underground lines and had been left unattended for a few minutes.

June 23  Between 9 p.m. June 23 and 4 p.m. June 25, an unknown suspect entered a garage on the 5200 block of York through an unlocked service door and took unlisted items.  (This occurred at the same address as the incident below.)

June 24  Between 9 p.m. June 24 and 9 p.m. June 25, unknown suspect(s) stole a fountain from the front yard of a home on the 5200 block of York.  (This occurred at the same address as the incident above.)

June 26  Between 3:30 and 3:40 p.m., tools were stolen from a home on the 4900 block of Sheridan.  There was no sign of forced entry.  The owner stated that a possible suspect may have used a key card to access a lockbox and gain entry.

July 4  Between 4 p.m. July 4 and 7 p.m. July 5, unknown suspect(s) stole a hammock that was tied to two trees in the front yard of a home on the 5000 block of Beard.

July 7  Between 4:30 p.m. and 1 a.m., an unknown suspect entered a home on the 5200 block of France and took unlisted item(s).

July 8  Between 4:30 a.m. July 8 and 12:30 p.m. July 9, an unknown suspect broke a small window in the front door of a home on the 5300 block of Abbott, reached in and unlocked the door, entered the home, and took unlisted items.

The Fulton Safety Committee meets on Tuesday, July 25, at 7 p.m.
