Palmisano Presents
Council Vice President Linea Palmisano, MPD 5th Precinct Inspector Katie Blackwell and Hennepin County Director of Community Corrections and Rehabilitation Catherine Johnson will lead a discussion addressing the uptick in violence in our city and how we are working to transform public safety services. This ward-level forum will focus on how the City and our interjurisdictional partners are addressing the uptick in violence specifically in Southwest Minneapolis, including carjackings and car thefts. This topic was chosen based on the significant number of messages and inquiries that the Ward 13 office has received regarding this issue and it is a good opportunity to share information broadly and gather leaders together to answer questions.
