Summer Story Strolls
Join us this summer for a series of story strolls! Put on by FNA's Racial Equity Committee, Hennepin County Library, and Minneapolis Parks. May 16-18 šāThe Thing about Beesāš The theme of the story isĀ a tribute to the bees that pollinate the foods we love to eat. Children are introduced to different kinds of bees, "how not to get stung," and how the things we fear are often things we don't fully understand. Want to further the conversation? Pershing Picnic
Wednesday, May 18th, 6-8 p.m. Pershing Park, 3523 W 48th Street Bring your own picnic dinner to enjoy at Pershing Park while playing some yard games and meeting your neighbors. Pershing Park staff will set up: bocce ball, giant Jenga, Frisbee golf, and more. There will be free popcorn and lemonade for all. If it rains, event will move inside the park building. Bonus: Check out the story stroll in the park while you are there!

Story Stroll Come take a stroll and read this āThe Last Stop on Market Street.ā The story is about appreciating differences, finding beauty all around us even in unlikely places, and helping out-being an active community member. Drop off food inside the box at Pershing Park between 6/6-6/9. We will collect and drop off all donations on 6/10.
