About the event: The Office of Violence Prevention (OVP) uses a community-focused, public health approach to help ensure that everyone can be free from violence. Working to break the cycle of violence by addressing it at three points: Preventing it before it begins Intervening at the first sign of risk Healing after it happens Learn about current initatives and their community-focused approach as well as how you can support this important work. The Office of Performance and Innovation helps the City innovate and transform citizens’ lives while addressing barriers to developing and implementing solutions. Pershing Park Earth Day Clean-Up

Join us on Saturday, April 23, for an Earth Day Clean-Up at Pershing Park and a free cookie! Volunteers will be provided with a trash grabber tool, gloves, and a garbage bag. Items can be picked up at the corner of 48th & Chowen, trash grabber needs to be returned when done. To ensure that we have enough cookies, we ask that you sign up first.
