URGENT! If you have not already done so, do not send your ballot in the mail!
In a ruling issued Thursday, the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ordered absentee ballots arriving after Election Day to be separated and potentially removed from the final vote totals, depending on future court rulings.
- If you have already mailed your ballot, confirm the status of the ballot here: https://mnvotes.sos.state.mn.us/AbsenteeBallotStatus.aspx. If the ballot has been accepted, no further action is needed. If the ballot has not been accepted, vote in person (more details below).
- If you have an absentee ballot ready, Minneapolis drop off sites will be open until 3:00 pm on Election Day. Check here for drop-off locations and hours of operation: https://vote.minneapolismn.gov/voters/ballot-drop-off/. You may NOT drop your ballot off at your polling place.
- Vote at an Early Vote Center through November 2: https://vote.minneapolismn.gov/voters/vote-early-in-person/
- Vote in person on Election Day. Some polling places may have changed. Find your polling place here: https://pollfinder.sos.state.mn.us/
