Here is how you, too, can join the new Native wave sweeping American urban gardening. Learn simple strategies, no matter what type of gardener you are, to increase your garden’s “Native Curb Appeal”-save time and money while creating the opportunity to observe and enjoy amazing urban wildlife right outside your window-all year ̓round.
Shirley Mah Kooyman, an award-winning teacher and botanist, will be giving a free talk titled “Native Plants for the Urban Garden” with sponsored native plant information booths, native plant sales, and sampling of native ice teas and treats at the Dharma Field Zen Center and Monarch Butterfly garden.
Come with your questions and learn about native plants.
