Adam Smith, property owner of the rental houses at 5048,5052 and 5056 Ewing Ave S, is proposing a three story apartment building with14 units and enclosed garage parking. Adam and his development team will holdan open house on Jan. 10 to show interested neighbors the plans, answerquestions, respond to any concerns, etc.  The project will require a change in zoning designationfor the properties and a 4 foot side set-back variance along 51st toaccommodate two additional parking spaces inside the garage.

Members of the public interested in the topic of aircraft noise as it relates to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) are invited to the Winter Listening Session hosted by Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) staff and MSP Noise Oversight Committee (NOC) members. The agenda for the January meeting includes an update on recent NOC meetings, Super Bowl planning, and an open dialogue about airport topics raised by attendees.
