The total sales for the 2010 Fulton Plant Sale came to $4,002, topping the 2009 all-time record high by $634. The Fulton Environment Committee wishes to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all those involved in making it so successful. These funds could not have been raised without all the volunteer hours, the donations and the folks that came even in the rain to purchase plants.
The funds raised will go a long way towards reforesting Fulton neighborhood. Considering the fact that the city of Minneapolis does not have enough money to replace all of the trees lost due to disease, neglect, damage and old age, this is a great way to help keep Fulton Green.
If you wish to donate to the Fulton tree fund, there is still time. You may make your tax deductible check payable to "Friends of Fulton" indicating "tree fund" and mail it to:

Plant Sale Tip: Save your plastic plant containers from year to year to refill for plant sale donations or you can recycle them at Home Depot. Next year's plant sale: June 3-5, 2011.
