A master plan is being developed for Lake Calhoun and Lake Harriet which will set a vision and priorities for future park improvements. The planning process is guided by the Community Advisory Council (CAC), people appointed by various neighborhood associations and elected officials. The CAC has prioritized a list of projects to help determine how to spend $3 million in constructed improvements around the lakes in 2017 and will start to give final recommendations on the improvements at the final two meetings. While the focus of these meetings will be on the CAC’s work, the public will also be given a chance to speak.
