Living Green Expo – Art Exhibition, State Fairgrounds Fine Arts Building

The 2011 Living Green Expo is issuing a statewide call for artists.
TITLE – Art as a Gateway for Community Engagement: Sustaining Nature and Culture
This 10th anniversary art exhibition focusing on issues pertaining to art as a vital voice in awakening consciousness about the need to perceive and participate in the growing fragility of planet earth. We will feature artwork in a variety of media: painting, sculpture, mixed-media, drawing, watercolor, prints, installation art, and performance art addressing issues of the ecosystem. Sustainable materials, environment from natural wonders to urban landscapes conceptual and representational and innovative/experimental.
Include the following information:
- current CV
- CD or DVD with images for consideration (works will be available for sale if indicated with 10% designated for the Living Green Expo)
- Artist statement
- Self addressed envelope
- All submissions must be fully identified, date, media, size, title
