Go online to https://my2020census.gov/ and get started! Taking part in the census is your civic duty— it’s a way to participate in our democracy and say “I count!” Getting an accurate count of all people is important as it determines federal congressional districts, state districts and even city ward boundaries. The results of the census also inform the allocation of $800B in federal funds to a wide variety of programs. Make sure to count everyone in your family; children under the age of 5 are the most undercounted population!
