Many thanks to all who attended this year’s fantastic Fulton Fall Festival on September 11. With your help, we were able to give 1,029 pounds of food to a very grateful Joyce Uptown Food Shelf plus $218 in cash donations. We also raised over $1,200, which will help fund the activities of the Fulton Neighborhood Association. $600 also went to Pershing Park for their participation.
The winner of the $100 food drive gift certificate was Claire C. Nelson. Claire opted to donate her winnings to local Fire Station 28.
We are so grateful for all of the volunteers, businesses and other community partners who worked together to make the Fulton Fall Festival 2010 such a success. First off, a huge thanks to our Community Engagement Committee. What an amazing team! We applaud Steve Young, Committee Chair, and volunteers: Marc Holtey, Kristine Johansen, Courtney Klocke, Nancy Lo, Tony Mann, Lisa McCleary, Mary Nolte, Terry Sauer, Lynn Steele, Rhea Sullivan and Joe Wolf.
Also many thanks to our wonderful corps of volunteer food servers, ticket sellers, silent auction monitors, temporary tattoo-ers, pony guiders, children’s activity supervisors and all who gave a couple hours to make this festival a success. We could not put on a festival without your gracious help.
