Stormwater Management—Fall Forum
Saturday, November 17, 2012, 9-10:30 a.m.,
Lynnhurst Community Center
Lake Harriet was greener with algae this past summer than ever before. Without better management of our stormwater run-off, it promises to be even worse next year. The time to act is NOW.
Do your part and come hear strategies and solutions from experts on HOW YOU CAN HELP improve the water quality of Lake Harriet and our other local bodies of water.
Presenters include:
Paul Chellsen, Minneapolis Dept. of Public Works Water Resources
Leslie Yetka, Education Manager, Minnehaha Creek Watershed District
Come at 9:00 a.m. for coffee and rolls, view displays and talk to the experts. The presentation begins at 9:30, with follow-up questions and discussion at 10:15.
Bring a neighbor or friend and learn more about what you can do to help improve our lakes and creek.
