Plan to attend the annual Family Halloween Party on Thurs., Oct. 29 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Southwest High School. The party is co-sponsored by Southwest Community School, Pershing Park, Linden Hills Park, Lake Harriet Community School, and Linden Hills and Washburn Branch Libraries. The party is open to all interested families, regardless of where you live. There will be a $2.00 entry fee per person at the door (up to four people). Activities include carnival games, a raffle for door prizes, a Moonwalk, magic shows, puppet shows, treats and prizes, and lots of fun things for children ages 1-99! The puppet and magic shows are free and the carnival games are 25 cents each (prizes for everyone every time you play).
The party will be held at Southwest High School (go to the Abbott side of our building and enter through the N.E. door #17). All youngsters must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No scary or inappropriate costumes please. Please bring a food donation to help out the Metro Food Shelf.
