Hopefully by now you’ve heard the exciting news that Fulton will be getting a Farmers Market in 2011! A group of volunteers who are partnering with the Kingfield Farmers Market is hard at work planning a Saturday market beginning in the late spring or very early summer. We are busy planning our opening season, securing our site and vendors, creating a logo, and reaching out into the community for volunteer and business support. We’d love to have your help on our working committee to get us off to an awesome start.
Among other things, we need community-minded Fulton volunteers to provide ideas and creativity, distribute postcards and fliers throughout Fulton, and work on market days. Plus, we’d love to know what *you* want to see at the market — feel free to suggest vendors, too! And if you’re a neighborhood businessperson, we’d love to talk to you about working together.
