FNA previous reported that In order to help reduce the chance of long lines in years that see large voter turnout, the City of Minneapolis is adding two voting precincts in Ward 13 and redrawing boundary lines. We provided a map of the proposed boundary changes.
We have now been advised by the City that the roll-out plan has changed:
• no precinct changes will be effective until after the caucus and local convention process is complete
• the map of Ward 13 with precinct boundary changes was flawed and will be revised with the new version shared with the neighborhood organization as soon as possible.
